These aren't the templates you need for MTD.
If you're submitting through suiteSheets, you'll want our MTD templates instead, they're built around HMRC's quarterly categories.
Everything on this page is free for anyone, whether or not you ever use suiteSheets for anything else. If your income later crosses the Making Tax Digital threshold, you'll need bridging software alongside whatever you're using to invoice, that's what suiteSheets does.
suiteSheets free tools is a library of free spreadsheet tools for UK sole traders and small businesses, published by suiteSheets. Each tool is a standalone spreadsheet, free to download, with no account, email address or payment required. The tools are separate from the suiteSheets Making Tax Digital (MTD) templates at suitesheets.co.uk/template, which are used specifically for submitting quarterly updates to HMRC through the suiteSheets platform.
The first tool in the library is a free Excel invoice and payment tracker for sole traders and small businesses who are not VAT registered. suiteSheets plans to add further free and paid tools to this library over time.
